Spraying Doors

Spray painting doors can be a very challenging job since they are larger than windows and usually you have to remove them to do the painting. But since you don’t have to do this all by yourself we can help you achieve symmetric and shiny painting for your doors. Be it internal or external doors, our expert UPVC spraying Wales team are specialised in doing this and they can also give you advice about how you can do this in the future.

Setting Up
The easiest way to spray paint the doors standing up is to first remove them and then place them vertically so you can spray paint the entire door on both sides. One of the best ways to connect two doors on the top by using stir sticks which once placed on the top of each door can help them stand vertically. Why this is the easiest method is because it allows you to spray paint two doors, on both sides each during one session of spray paint. You can put some type of paper on the ground to avoid stains from leaking paint.

Pre-Painted
In the case of pre-painted doors, the struggle is that you first have to prime them before starting the painting session. Based on the stains on the door and the amount of the old paint, you will have to use a bit of sandpaper to make sure you remove any obstacle for the new paint. Once you sandpaper the door, you will need to prime it with an oil-based primer to make sure the painting is going to hold. If the door has any cracks you should use a filler, let it dry out, sand the door and then start the spray painting process.

Interior
When it comes to interior doors, they are the ones that get more used and usually the ones that need maintenance more often. You will want to use a kind of paint that is self-leveling when you paint the interior doors to avoid any bumps creating after the paint has dried out. I remember my father painting our interior doors and after the paint was dry, there would always be any leaking bums here and there making the door look terrible. That is why choosing the right kind of paint is very important when you are decided to spray paint the interior doors.

Commercial
Commercial units usually have these large metal doors in their front that require much work done to achieve a perfect painting. The door needs to be removed and placed vertically, then two experts are going to have to sand the door both sides to make sure any dirt or rust is removed from the surface before starting the painting process. Once the sanding is done, the door then needs to be covered with a protecting, transparent, anti-rust agent and then the door is ready for spray painting. You can directly call the company to learn about the UPVC spraying cost on commercial unit doors.
